MAX AQUASEAL MESHGUARD

Glass Fiber reinforcing MESHGUARD with alkali resistant coating is developed to prevent cracks forming indifferent applications in construction industry as well as for reinforcement of mortars and non load bearing concrete. It prevents hair cracks and clefts caused by movements of the under lying elements(bricks, prefabricated or light weight blocks etc.)or by external agents. It is used for reinforcement of inside concrete floors, elimination of cracks during repair of thin concrete layers (balcony...) and other non-structural concrete applications in buildings.

Application :

Fiberglass mesh is a versatile material with a wide range of applications in construction and repairs. Here are some of the most common uses:

  • Wall reinforcement: Fiberglass mesh is commonly used to reinforce walls, particularly at joints and corners, to prevent cracks from forming. It is embedded in a thin layer of joint compound or plaster to create a stronger, more flexible surface that is less prone to cracking.
  • Waterproofing: Fiberglass mesh is a key component in waterproofing systems for roofs, floors, and showers. It is embedded in a layer of waterproofing membrane to add strength and prevent cracks that could lead to leaks.
  • Stucco reinforcement: Similar to its use in wall reinforcement, fiberglass mesh is used to strengthen stucco walls and prevent cracks.
  • Tile setting: Fiberglass mesh can be used to reinforce the underlayment for tile installations, especially on floors or uneven surfaces. This helps to prevent the tiles from cracking or popping loose over time.
  • Other applications: Fiberglass mesh also has various other applications, including:
  • Reinforcing plaster ceilings

    Strengthening concrete repairs

    Creating fire-resistant panels

As a backing for stucco facades

Fiberglass mesh is a relatively inexpensive and easy-to-use material that can significantly improve the strength and durability of a variety of construction projects. When used correctly, it can help to prevent cracks, leaks, and other problems that can be expensive to repair down the road.

Advantages :

  • Specially developed coating provides good adhesion with concrete to improve tensile strength and increase impact resistance.
  • Reinforces against impact forces, shattering forces and material loss from abrading forces.
  • Inhibits and controls the formation of intrinsic cracking in concrete.
  • Reinforces against water migration.
  • Provides improved durability.
  • Imparts toughness to hardened concrete.
  • Reduces plastic shrinkage and settlement cracking.
  • Provides residual strength.
